Recently the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr Bhajan Lal has announced an animal welfare program called Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana 2025 to provide insurance of the cattle and livestock of all the farmers across the state.
Under this scheme, the government aims to provide animal insurance of INR 5 Lakhs for each milch cow and buffalo. According to this initiative, Insurance of Rs INR 10000 will be provided for Camels along with sheep and goats. About Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana 2025
The Deputy Chief Minister Mr Bhajan Lal along with the finance minister introduced this Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana on July 10 2024 with an initial budget of INR 400 Crore. This initiative was launched to provide support to all the livestock farmers. Under this initiative, the government aims to provide animal insurance of INR 5 Lakh for milch cows and buffalos.
Along with this, the authorities aim to provide insurance of INR 10000 for all the camels, sheep, and goats. With the implementation of this scheme, the farmers will increase the production of livestock cattle and other animals. This initiative will be beneficial for both marginal and small farmers across the state. Objective of Mangala Animal Insurance Scheme
The main objective behind this Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana is to provide support to all cattle farmers by providing them insurance for their livestock. According to this scheme, the government will provide INR 5 Lakh insurance for the milch cows and buffalos and INR 10000 insurance for the camels, sheep, and goats.
This initiative will be beneficial for both small and marginal farmers across the state.
